So the kids were SO bored today and I had cleaned the house this morning and it was already getting messy. They wanted something to do and came up with a lemonade stand. At first I was hesitant about the idea, sticky juice all over my kitchen and then front yard, not my idea of a good time. Anyway, I decided that having a lemonade stand was a fun memory from when I was a kid so I gave in. We dont get a whole lot of traffic, so I was unsure as to how it would go. They set up the table and made fruit punch and set out. They have been out there for about 15 minutes and the ice has already melted twice and they have not had a customer, although one neighbor did say they would stop by on her way home from somewhere. I think I will go out and buy myself a glass of lukewarm fruit punch.
UPDATE
They actually had several customers and made close to $10.00 to share.

Too bad you don't have a firestation down the street so they could go sell their lemonade to the firefighters like we did when we were kids!!!
Did they end up getting any customers?
Hey! I have to say when I saw your comment...I was thinking who is trevoranderin? Trevoranaderin? Oh, Trevor and Erin! Yea! I can't believe your cute kiddos. Lincoln looks exactly the same...just alot bigger! Is Trevor still plumbing? We moved to Snowflake and then now Taylor. We really love it. You guys have a cabin in Show Low? Were you all at the Show Low 4th of July parade? I was in it...didn't hear you yelling for me!? Maybe I'll see you at Wal-Mart some time. Good seeing and bloggin you...I'll have to show Jace your blog.
I haven't had a chance to write but am so excited that we get to keep in touch more often now.
We use to do the lemonade stands but would stand in the middle of the road so they had to stop. Good ol' days!
I can't believe how big all your kids are. It does just seem like yesterday that your family would come hang out and Lincoln was just little. Where does the time go?!
Hey $10.00 is more money than I made today :) They are so cute, If I was in town I would have loved to buy some.
My kids always want to have a lemonade stand but I always say no. Maybe I should give in and let them have a little fun.
How fun for them! They look so cute sitting on that picnic table. Are you counting down the days till school starts yet?? I'm not quite sure...it's coming so fast!!!

WOW< maybe I need to do a lemonade stand to earn some money! I am sure they were thrilled!
I can't believe they sold lemonade in this heat??!! How fun though!
I am glad you found our site. It is nice to see someone is is farther down the line with the condition. I am glad your guys is doing well. If you want to post carters story you can on a site called Heart Heros and you can find the link on my site under we support. Romans mom
Glad to see the camera is back! Or some ones is. You are a good mom to say YES and let the kids have a good time. And $10 to boot. Sounds like a good time. We've got construction going on in front of our house, I could make some bank with the girls if we did some baked goods! Oh, but that is a lofty idea, and not likely to happen.
I'm impressed that they made money! I feel bad for never stopping at lemonade stands when I see them in the neighborhood. Next time I'll think of your kids and their lukewarm fruit punch, and maybe actually stop to spend a little. =)
oh i remeber that. that was the we came up.
