I hope that I dont offend actual single moms. Sometimes I just feel like one. On Monday night Trevor said good night to the kids and told them he would see them on Wednesday night. It is true. He obviously worked all day and then he went straight to the temple to get his training as a veil worker. He was very nervous and excited about it. It has been a goal of his and now he has accomplished it. So, he didnt get home until late and then, he will work all day today and will not be home in time for me to leave to scouts so I will take all the kids with me. I am glad that we only have a few more scout meetings before summer and then hopefully we will be able to work out a better schedule because I dont think that we will get much accomplished with my 3 little kids running around.
I decided to take my kids to the mall last night so we wouldnt miss having our dad home so much. I bribed them to clean their rooms in order to go ride the merry-go-round. It is fun and only a few of my kids had riden before. I needed to get something there anyway, so I guess I just wanted my kids to clean their room. We went and played at the foamy play area and had a good time. I took a picture of my kids on the slide and several moms commented how their kids would never sit for a picture like that. I told them they are just used to it, I take their picture all the time. On the way home, we stopped at the library because Lincoln has to do one more book report before the end of the year. He picked a Junie B. Jones book. I thought it was a little juvenile for him, but the only criteria is that it has chapters and we are getting a pretty late start. Carter picked some book called Inch and Miles and McKinley got a Fancy Nancy book. It was pretty fun and we decided to go more often. Lincoln loves to look at the books for keeps and so we did that before we left. They sell books for 50 cents and he bought the 1st Harry Potter book. He loves Harry Potter and we dont own the 1st one. (borrowed it to read it years ago.) He had brought his money and loves to spend it. He always want to get a book there, but it seems that I never have change when we go or even dollars. He was thrilled to get a new book and will read it once he is done with his book report book. I am looking forward to having the kids out of school and doing some fun things. 12 more days.

Sorry you're missing your husband so much! I guess it doesn't help that he's in the bishopric, either! Good luck, and I hope summer is much slower-paced.
There are really only 12 more days of school...weird. I have mixed feelings about that...when are we going to the cabin for a week???
I know how you feel!! We love the library too! I love that it is fun and free!! Sometimes you just have to get out and do something fun so that kids don't miss Dad so much!! Sounds like a fun evening!
Oh Erin you do have your hands full! I hope we can get together and play soon. I still owe you a birthday lunch. :D You could use a break!
Oh my gosh- we went and rode the merry-go-round last night ott! How funny that we didn't bump into each other.
Sorry you're feeling husband-less these days. There's nothing worse in my opinion. Hope things settle down a bit for you.
And did you know that her little biy just had heart surgery??? ;D
