We, like almost all other Mormon families, put up our Christmas tree on Monday night. Why do you ask, am I just now blogging about it? Well, it is because I am just now recovering. J/K. I am still not done, but my goal is to get the final touches up today. It started out out bad and we should have just stopped there. We told the kids they had to get their chores and homework done and then after dinner we would read scriptures and eat our yummy German advent and then we would put up the decorations. Carter would not eat dinner. He had a few bites and drank like five glasses of juice. Why we let him do that, I dont know. I guess it was just a hectic day. So we do all of our stuff and I am just on the verge of screaming by this point. I have no idea why I have to beg my children for everything. The kids are excited and running around as we start to pull the boxes out. Carter starts coughing and all of a sudden-He pukes. Mind you he had just drank red juice. Nice. It landed right on Jack's head and splattered all over Trevor. "Luckily" that happened because very little then landed on the carpet. Trevor ran and gave the kids a bath and I cleaned the carpet, then we put up the tree. All in all it was fun, but seriously does everything we do have to be a production.
I have to add one more picture because it was so funny. Carter came out of the bathroom with a "scarf" on, if you can't tell, it is a long piece of toilet paper.
Also my camera quit working, the battery died and it will not charge so when I get that fixed I will take some pictures of the finished product and post.

I hate when I try to bribe my kids...then they don't cooperate and we have to do the thing that I was bribing them with anyway! Why can't it just be easy sometimes? That picture of Carter is so cute...love the scarf!
Also, did you put your Christmas tree in a different spot this year? Don't you usually put it by your fireplace?
Red Juice?? You are daring. I don't think I can buy red juice. Just the thought makes me nervous!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE The scarf!!
Nothing says Christmas like a little post-puke TP scarf!
You guys are AWESOME!
Your kids are too cute! I think anything that involves children IS a PRODUCTION!!!!!
I love reading about your productions!!! :)
See you tomorrow!
You always make it a funny story. Just fyi I'm 3 for 3 on my 3-Ne challenge! The kids help me remember because they only get their German chocolate if we read!
That is a very nice scarf! Glad you got those lights up - along with the other 80% of the East Valley on Monday night! ;-)
Great kid santa pic and I love the scarf!
I love it. Yeah, I didn't post about us putting up our tree, but I was just as frazzled as you felt, but I had no reason to be. I think I must be too anal, and the kids were driving me crazy. I'm glad you got the juice cleaned up, though, and I love the scarf! =)
hopefully you don't mind me leaving a comment... i found you while i was surfing around! it's good to see you guys (er...pictures) hope all is well w/ you! sure miss seeing you guys around!!

glad I'm not the only one with nightly "productions"! We had a 20 minute melt down last night due to me offering the wrong towel after the bath. I should know better. Seriously, could Carter get any cuter?
